How It Started…

Linnea, the owner of Darling x Dashing reached out to VVITCH Digital in 2021 (when she was only running Darling Boutique), in need of a website audit. We thoroughly assessed her website at the time, looking through her website structure, layout and design and SEO. Ultimately, we made some recommendations that would improve SEO, accessibility and user experience on the website.

Cut to the end of 2022 when Linnea reached back out, expressing that she hadn’t had time to implement any of the recommendations that we made. She knew she needed some website help, so we had an initial call to figure out how exactly we could best support her. We landed on a website overhaul in Shopify, which is what Linnea’s website was already built on.

Time for a Website Update

Linnea had a template that she was happy with in Shopify, but after taking into account the functional requirements for her website, we realized there were better options for her. We recommended a few different templates that would serve Linnea better.

From there, our lead designer got to work on mockups. Mockups are especially helpful with a website build because they show you what your website will look like (without our team having to do any development). Once mockups were approved, our developer got to work bringing the mockups to life.

After everything was approved, we launched the site and sent over training videos so that Linnea and the Darling x Dashing team felt confident making updates to the website. Remember — good agencies don’t gatekeep! We want all of our clients to feel good about using their websites after we offboard them.

The end result for Darling x Dashing is a beautiful, functional website that makes shopping and searching easier!
