How It Started…
After working with Carly of Schematic Design Co. on a visual brand identity, Jenna was ready for a Shopify site that reflected her new branding and helped run her business which is part e-commerce and part brick-and-mortar. Jenna reached out to VVITCH for helping bringing it all to life!
Evolving a Retail Brand for Shopify
Website platforms are not one-size-fits all by any means — you can check out this blog post if you want to know more about what platform is right for you — but we knew immediately that Asdelia Mae needed a powerful e-commerce solution for her business. Shopify was the clear winner given its capabilities. For Asdelia Mae, specifically, it integrated with some non-negotiable platforms, like wholesale platform Faire.
We started the Asdelia Mae website build the same way we start all website builds — by mapping out the website requirements (from apps that need to be integrated to content on specific pages) and the website navigation. From there, our designer mocked up the pages that we knew they’d need. We love including mockups in our website projects because they truly give the client a (near) exact idea of how their website will look when it’s complete.
Once we had approval on the mockups, our Shopify developer got to work bringing the website to life within Shopify.
The finished product is a functional, beautiful website that will allow Jenna and the Asdelia Mae team to run the business more smoothly.
