How It Started…
Diana Ascarrunz came to us looking to refresh her visual branding. As usual, we were thrilled to work with a wedding photographer to bring their vision for their brand to life.
We asked Diana what set her apart from her competitors. She said:
deep empathy
being present
staying calm in a storm
With that, our lead designer got to work making an artful, inclusive brand identity that would serve Diana across digital and print applications.
It was important with this branding package that Diana had logo variations that would work in multiple placements such as her website header, social media and email signature. These are always considerations for our designers when creating a brand. Just because a brand is beautiful, that does not mean it will work for you. We aim to make beautiful and functional brand identities.
Down-To-Earth Luxury
For Diana’s brand, our designer focused on a varied color palette that was not only WCAG compliant, but that would also convey the welcoming, inclusive nature of Diana’s brand.
The primary logo makes a statement but retains a sense of refined playfulness with the hand-written style word mark. The simplicity of the logo layout pairs well with layered/collaged compositions without competing with the imagery — a crucial element of a visual brand for any photographer.
For typography, our designer chose a variety of fonts that work together to maintain clarity and legibility to brand text content.
