How It Started…
Carly Gaebe, owner of Steadfast Studio, reached out to us about her website. Her existing website was outdated, didn’t reflect her new branding and didn’t reflect Carly’s business goals. We knew we could help!
Carly chose a template that met her needs and design preferences and our designer (also named Carly) went in and made it reflect the Steadfast Studio brand and, most importantly, made it work for the goals of Steadfast Studio. Using a template helped us work more efficiently, which reduced the cost to the client. Depending on your specific needs and preferences, a template might be a great option. We often do template design and builds as sprint-style projects, where we are building out the site in 1-2 weeks with rapid feedback cycles. This method of working is especially helpful if you own a seasonal business, like Carly, and you know you will have limited availability for extended periods of time.
Our designer laid out a few primary pages and once Carly felt good about the design, the team went to work building out the others.
We worked on SEO and web accessibility behind the scenes and ultimately, we were able to deliver a fully built out website in less than a month — a win win in our book!
Web Design
Using the Gigi Rose base template purchased from Big Cat Creative, we designed and built a semi-custom Squarespace website for Steadfast Studio, incorporating her branding that was designed by Launch Your Daydream.
We made sure the branding was prominent and conveyed the fact that Carly is an energetic and fun person to work with.
